What it checks,
and where it reads it from.

Every finding names the URL it came from, so nothing here is a score you have to take on trust. Open the link and check it yourself.

  • AI crawler access

Reads your robots.txt and reports whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and the rest are allowed, blocked, or simply unmentioned. Unmentioned is its own answer: each engine then falls back to its own default rather than yours.

    Read from your robots.txt

  • Brand entity markup

Looks for structured data on the homepage saying who this brand is. Without it an engine has to infer your identity from prose alone, and that is where it starts confusing you with a competitor who shares part of your name.

    Read from your homepage

  • Quotable content

Counts what is actually on the homepage for an engine to lift. Answers are assembled from passages, not from whole pages, so a page with almost no text has nothing to contribute even when it ranks.

  • Page discovery

Checks for a sitemap. Without one, engines have to find every page by following links, and anything not linked from somewhere prominent tends not to be found at all.

    Read from your sitemap.xml

  • llms.txt

Checks for an llms.txt, the newer convention for handing engines a written map of what matters on a site. This one never scores as a fail because it is genuinely optional and not yet honoured everywhere. Having one is an edge, not having one is not a gap.

    Read from your llms.txt

  • Indexable

Checks whether the homepage carries a noindex tag. It is a short check with a blunt result: a page asking every engine to leave it out cannot be quoted by any of them, no matter how good the other five look.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not claim to have asked ChatGPT about your brand, because it has not. Any tool returning that in five seconds is guessing. These six checks establish whether an engine COULD quote you. Whether it DOES is a slower question, and answering it honestly means a person going and looking.

It also does not score you against competitors, rank your keywords, or estimate traffic. Six checks, six sources, nothing inferred.

Questions

Does this ask ChatGPT what it says about my brand?
No, and any tool claiming to do that at this speed is guessing. This checks the six things that decide whether an engine COULD quote you: whether the crawlers are allowed in, whether there is structured data telling them who you are, whether there is enough on the page to lift an answer from, whether the rest of your pages are discoverable, whether an llms.txt is published, and whether the homepage is open to indexing at all. Actually asking the engines is a slower job a person does, and that is the written audit.
Is it really free, and do I need an account?
Free, and there is no signup. You type a domain and get the result. An email is only asked for if you want the longer written audit sent to you, and that is optional.
What does a fail actually mean?
Each finding names the exact URL it was read from, so you can open it and check the result yourself. A fail means that specific signal was missing on the day you ran it, not that your site is broken or that you are invisible.
Will passing all four get me cited by AI?
No. These six are the floor, not the ceiling. Passing means an engine can reach you, resolve who you are and find something to quote. Whether it chooses you over a competitor depends on whether your content answers the question better, which no automated check can score.

The six checks are the floor.
The audit is the rest.

The written audit is a person going and asking the engines what they say about you, then telling you which gaps cost you the most and which three fixes to make first. Free, back within 24 hours, no sales call. It is yours whether or not you ever hire us.
